Although these trucks are based on prototypes cast by GSC/Commonwealth, Kato calls them "Budd" trucks. I'm told that they are based on a design only used by the CB&Q on some of their pre-war Budd cars. Similar to GSC 41-R-C-11 trucks, they feature double drop equalizers (as commonly found on pre-war trucks).
