Unlike the south elevator, grain (once again, corn and soybeans) is simply stored here (IE, it is not first cleaned or otherwise processed). Trucks dump their grain into a pit inside the shed on the west side of the complex, from whence it is elevated up and deposited into the appropriate bin. A spout on the east side of the elevator is used for loading railcars. A spout on the west side of the big bin is used for loading trucks. The long shed is used for temporary storage of low-grade food products (IE, livestock feed).
